Our Story
Misner Media was born from a lifelong passion for storytelling. After a successful career in Atlanta as both a recording engineer and video producer — and later as a film and video educator — I “retired” to Winston-Salem, NC and quickly realized that creativity doesn’t retire. With more than 30 years of experience in music, media, and visual storytelling, my journey began at Belmont University, where I earned a degree in Music Business and Recording Engineering. I launched my first video production company in Atlanta in 1993 and went on to teach film and video beginning in 2009, helping the next generation discover their own creative voices.
When we moved to Winston-Salem, Misner Media became the natural next chapter — a way to blend experience, passion, and purpose. We also merged Adrienne’s expertise in technical writing into the company, expanding our ability to help clients communicate clearly, creatively, and authentically.
Today, Misner Media exists to tell meaningful stories — elevating brands, businesses, and people through thoughtful, cinematic storytelling.
Meet The Team
Meet Adrienne — Writer, Organizer, Problem-Solver, Magic-Maker
Adrienne Misner is the backbone of Misner Media — the calm, brilliant force who keeps everything running smoothly. She graduated from the College of the Holy Cross with a degree in English, then went on to earn her Master’s degree in Technical Writing from Carnegie Mellon University (because words are her superpower).
At Misner Media, Adrienne wears all the hats — she writes our scripts, helps oversee productions, keeps projects on track, and somehow makes accounts receivable and payable feel like part of the creative process. If it needs organized, clarified, polished, proofed, tracked, filed, color-coded, or magically fixed… chances are Adrienne already did it.
When she’s not wrangling words and workflows, you’ll probably find her happily playing in the dirt, gardening, or hunting down forgotten vintage treasures and bringing them back to life. Adrienne blends creativity with structure — and we wouldn’t be Misner Media without her.
Meet Tracy — Filmmaker, Editor, Tech Whisperer, Storyteller
Tracy Misner is the creative engine behind Misner Media — the guy behind the camera, in the editing chair, solving tech puzzles, and quietly turning big ideas into beautiful stories. With more than 30 years of experience in music, media, and film production, Tracy has a knack for making people feel at ease on camera while capturing moments with heart, humor, and cinematic style.
Before launching Misner Media, Tracy began his career as a recording engineer (yes — lots of buttons, knobs, cables, and late nights), then built a successful video production company in Atlanta. He later spent years teaching film and video, helping students discover their creative voices — proof that he loves storytelling enough to pass it on.
Today, Tracy handles the filming, editing, lighting, audio, tech gear, and creative problem-solving — basically everything with plugs, lenses, or settings. If it requires patience, precision, or a steady hand, Tracy is your guy.
When he’s not editing or chasing perfect lighting, he’s probably geeking out over new camera toys, dreaming up the next project, or exploring cool little towns with Adrienne.
